Deployment of ISO-14001 and OHSAS 18001 Policies and Procedures

The use of an environmental and safety management system is critical to organizations today to remain compliant with governmental standards and regulations on these subject matters. I believe these systems are best when integrated into an overall business management system that combines the quality management system, the environmental management system and the safety, management system into one Lean Enterprise business management solution. Unfortunately today’s certification groups don’t see things this way and require companies to have these various systems. This should not deter companies of trying to make these systems as an integrated Lean Enterprise approach. To help provide some understanding of these systems I have outlined the basic elements of each system for your review.
